Certain inkjet papers are not recommended for laser printers and vice versa. Inkjet papers are designed for liquid inks versus laser-approved media that uses powder-based toners. The chemical composition of the paper will determine if the sheet of paper is appropriate for inkjet and/or laser printing. Most paper mills will indicate whether a particular sheet is conducive for either or both of these printing options. We highly suggest when there is a question as to whether or not a sheet is suitable for a specific function, that the customer refers to our printing compatibility chart on our web site or calls customer service directly. Most of the papers at LCI Paper Company are both inkjet and laser compatible, with the exception of a few.
