Wording for Housewarming Invitations
If you’ve recently moved to a new home, whether newly built or just new to you, most likely you’ll want to invite family and friends over to show off your new place. Throwing a housewarming party is a great way to do this.
After you’ve settled in, draw up your guest list and write out those invitations. If you’re stumped on what to write, then take a look at the following sample verses. One may strike your fancy or inspire you to create your own original text. For more wording samples, see LCI's Housewarming Party Invitation Wording.
General Housewarming Wording Sample:
"Home is where the heart is."
A saying trite but true
Of memories to share
For all those who walk through
"Home" is where there's blessings
And joy and peace within
A place where there is safety
For guests and friends and kin
(Be sure to include date, time, who’s hosting, contact info for RSVPs, and directions.)
