Gmund Colors Subtil is a brand new line of metallic card stock available at LCI Paper. Imported from Germany's Gmund Paper Mill and rarely sold in the USA, these exquisite card stocks feature a fine, micro-embossed mica surface on one side that gives off a soft metallic glimmer.
Offered in nine unique shades of heavyweight 111lb cover stock (310 grams), Subtil lends a professional and sophisticated look to formal event invitations, presentations and paper projects. The surface shimmer is soft and not overstated, making this paper impressive for its distinguished elegance.
What's more, Subtil papers coordinate perfectly with LCI's selection of Gmund Colors stationery and envelopes as well as Contact Colors Vellum. The special metallic surface makes this paper unsuitable for inkjet or laser printing, but other printing techniques such as engraving and offset printing work wonderfully. Subtil could be used to stunning effect as the backing layer for a wedding invitation or menu card, or as a ceremony program cover.
