This article is the complete version of an introductory letter originally included in the most recent LCI e-mail newsletter. If you're not already receiving our exclusive discounts and information about the latest paper products, you might want to subscribe to our newsletter now.
My name is Joshua Birch, and I recently joined the LCI team. My goal is to connect you to the people who you deal with--directly or behind the scenes--whenever you shop at LCI. In the coming months, you'll be meeting the people who assist you when you call, people who reach out to you in an e-mail newsletter or a blog post, people who carefully pick your items and ship them from our warehouse, and the person that founded the company with your satisfaction as his priority.
As you're planning your holiday events and creative projects, you'll want to be assured that LCI Paper is the right company to handle your order responsibly, carefully, and in a timely fashion. Meet Barry Levine, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Barry will talk to you about the company's dedication to timely shipping, accurate fill, and care in the actual packing of your order.

Barry Levine
"When an order comes to us on a given day, we strive to get it out that very same day. If an order is received before 2 o'clock Eastern time, that order is guaranteed to go out, barring any inventory issues."
You also want to be assured that the package delivered to your door contains exactly what you ordered. LCI scrutinizes all orders with an effective, multiple person verification system. Barry breaks it down. "We have a team of people who will take one order at a time and pull the items for that given order, one at a time. Each line item is carefully checked off on the order after it's put together. We pride ourselves in another way, in that before any order goes out the door, there is a policy of it having to be checked by three people total. Not only is the individual who has put the order together checking the order, but two separate people beyond that have to approve the order and sign off on it before it actually gets packed and shipped. And our success rate for sending orders out correctly is probably attributed to that method that we have in place."
Regarding the actual hand packing of LCI's delicate paper products, "The importance that we put on pulling the order, checking the order, doing the paperwork, it really trickles all the way down to packing and shipping. If we're not equally as efficient in all those areas, then we're not doing our job. The product is a fragile product to begin with, which means that if a corner on a carton gets damaged or dinged one way or another, whether it's here or whether it's in transit, then we have to make sure that inside that carton, the product is still well-enough protected that the product is intact once the customer opens up the package. So it is very important and we put a lot of pride into making sure the packages are well-protected on the inside, well-managed on the outside, and that shipping labels are visible and accurate before they go out the door."
Now, you have a deeper understanding of LCI's desire to serve your needs and the steps we take to make sure we do. I hope you'll consider what you've read today as you begin to think about order specialty paper products for your up-coming events and creative projects this holiday season.
I look forward to our next correspondence and for the opportunity to bring you closer to the people at LCI Paper. Feel free to post a blog comment or send an e-mail.
