    Good news! According to the Wikipedia article for iWork (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IWork), the Pages application can "open and edit Microsoft Word documents (including DOC and Office Open XML files), rich text format documents, and plain text documents. Pages can also export documents in the DOC and PDF formats."
