Though this entire collection is of impeccable beauty, the highlight of this line is certainly the authentic wood embossing that is available in robust colors Tindalo, Bubinga, Limba, and Glowing Makassar, as pictured above. The first of their kind in the industry, these textured stocks truly capture the character of real wood.
It was this embossment that attracted LCI to the Savanna collection, says Barry Levine, Vice President of Sales and Service. Previously not carrying anything quite like Savanna, the idea behind adding such a uniquely finished card stock to LCI’s inventory was to “provide customers with the additional creative variety they may be seeking.”
Of course, when discussing LCIs motivation to carry the Savanna line, Barry was also sure to mention Gmund’s reputation for manufacturing products that are as aesthetically pleasing as they are environmentally friendly. As with all paper imported from this German mill, the Savanna stock is chlorine free, pH neutral, fade resistant, and a Forest Stewardship Council certified product; made with only sustainable raw materials. In addition, Gmund strives to manufacture their products by reducing and recycling water consumption and waste, decreasing the use of harsh chemicals, and producing seventy percent of its own carbon dioxide – free energy!
